GPA calculator for weighted course credits
Enter each course on its own line as credits,grade. Calculator24 weights every letter grade by its credits, reports the semester GPA and combines it with optional prior credits for a projected cumulative GPA.
How to calculate GPA
Convert each letter grade to grade points, multiply by the course credits, add the weighted points and divide by graded credits. A four-credit course therefore affects GPA twice as much as a two-credit course.

Use one course per line, with credits first and the letter grade second: 3,A-. Spaces are allowed. The calculator accepts A+ through F and up to 50 courses.
Prior GPA and credits are optional as a pair. Set prior credits to zero when you only need the current term.
Four-point and 4.3 scales
On the common 4.0 option, A and A+ both equal 4.0. The 4.3 option assigns A+ a value of 4.3. Plus and minus steps use 3.7, 3.3, 2.7 and corresponding values through D−.
This setting does not add honors or Advanced Placement weighting. If your school uses 4.5, 5.0 or percentage rules, follow its official conversion policy.
Semester versus cumulative GPA
Semester GPA covers only the courses entered now. Cumulative GPA includes prior graded work. The result panel keeps both values visible so a strong new term is not mistaken for the entire academic record.
What this estimate excludes
Pass/fail, withdrawals, incompletes, repeated-course replacement and transfer-credit policies vary. This calculator does not decide which courses belong in the denominator and cannot replace an official transcript.

How do I find my GPA?
Multiply each grade-point value by its course credits, add those products and divide by total graded credits.
Does an A+ equal 4.0 or 4.3?
Both systems exist. Select the rule used by your school and verify it with the registrar.
Do course credits affect GPA?
Yes. More-credit courses carry more weight in the weighted average.
Can I include my previous GPA?
Yes. Enter both prior cumulative GPA and prior completed credits to combine them with the new term.
